Physical Therapist Florida

Adkore Rehabilitation's physical therapists are dedicated to treating therapy needs with the latest techniques and equipment that includes hands on care and personal therapy plans.

Physical therapy has become a common form of treatment to help patients overcome the effects of injuries, manage pain, and increase the effectiveness of other treatments.

At our physical therapy clinics in Deltona or Sanford, FL, our physical therapists develop treatment plans that are personal to your back/neck pain, herniated discs, sports injuries, joint pain, pinched nerves, or auto accident injuries.

"What was pain and suffering is no more. Thank you Adkore Rehabilitation Center."
- Lucy Rivera, Adkore patient

Conditions we specialize in:

Back & Neck Pain

If you have chronic back and neck pain, physical therapy may be the answer. Our physical therapists work to provide a personal therapy plan to relieve your back and neck pain. Our physical therapy treatment will focus mostly on pain relief exercises, stretching, and strengthening.

Herniated/Bulging Discs

Physical therapy can relieve herniated disc pain almost immediately, as well as train your body to prevent further injury. There are a variety of physical therapy treatments, including passive treatments which relax your body. Most treatment plans begin with passive therapy. Active therapy begins once the body is healed to strengthen your body and prevent pain.

Sports Injuries

If you've experienced a recent sports injury, physical therapy may be the best way to heal and strengthen your body. Physical therapy is one of the most effective treatments for sports injuries, and our physical therapists will determine what treatment is right for you so you can get back into the game quicker.

Joint Pain

Physical therapy keeps your body and joints moving which can help and relieve joint pain. Our physical therapists work to strengthen your muscles and joints through several treatments than takes stress off of your joints, alleviating pain.

Pinched Nerves

Physical therapy treatments for pinched nerves are focused on stretching and strengthening the muscles around the pinched nerve. Adkore's physical therapists generate a treatment plan that is designed for the area of your pinched nerve. Stretching these muscles will ease the pain and pressure around your pinched nerve.

Auto Accident Injuries

Auto accidents can cause a wide range of injuries that can be treated with physical therapy. Whether your injuries cause joint pain, stiffness or weakness, or back pain, our physical therapists will provide you with a treatment that heals, strengthens muscles, and relieves pain.

Physical Therapy Treatment Process

At one of our Florida physical therapy clinics in Deltona or Sanford, an on-staff physical therapist will perform your first-visit assessment, which includes an integrated functional, joint, and soft tissue examination. Your physical therapist will then consult with you and your doctor (if applicable) to develop an individualized plan of care. Our local, physical therapy assistants, who typically implement the plan, are trained to use safe, proven, and up-to-date procedures.
